According to reports from Constable Mark Herman's Office, on January 8, 2019, deputies responded to the 7700 block of Westbank Avenue in reference to an automobile theft follow-up investigation. Upon deputies arriving, the complainant advised that her stolen vehicle was currently being driven by a suspect and was being monitored by a GPS Device that was placed on the vehicle. Constable Deputies quickly established a perimeter around the area and with the assistance of the Texas Department of Safety air support, deputies located the vehicle in the 18000 block of Barker Cypress Road, the Kroger's Parking Lot. The occupants were detained and identified as Jarvas Sylvester and Bernard Robertson."Jarvas Sylvester and Bernard Robertson were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Jarvas Sylvester was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and received a $1,500.00 bond. Bernard Robertson was charged with Auto Theft and received a $10,000.00 bond. Both cases have been assigned to the 351st District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
