Meet Warner Elementary School fifth-grade student Peyton Pierce in this "Student of the Week" profile!
www.cfisd.net/en/ 10-year-old Pierce earned a spot in the Texas Tornados club volleyball program over the summer, and will look to continue spending time doing extracurricular activities at school, which includes student council and Give With Kindness Club.
Favorite things to do after class: "On some days, I have volleyball. We scrimmage and practice."
Favorite website: "Google.com is my favorite because I like to search things and I like how they have the latest news."
Favorite TV show: "My favorite TV show is the The Who Was? Show, because it teaches you about well-known people in history."
Favorite movie: "My favorite movie is Wonder because it shows the importance of friendship and that just because someone is different, they should be treated as if they were your best friend."
Ambition: "I want to be a cardiologist, so I can help people that have heart problems. If I decide not to be a cardiologist, I am going to be an actress."
What topics/things are you passionate about?: "I am passionate about the game of volleyball and doing well in school."
What inspires you?: "I want to know more and to know everything about something."
What three things can't you live without?: "I cannot live without books, water and school."
What are you most looking forward to this semester?: "Picking out clubs, making friends playing on our new recess equipment and doing activities."
