Students from four CFISD high school earned awards from the Family, Career and Community Leaders of American (FCCLA) regional competition, held Feb. 9-10 in Galveston, with most advancing to state competition.

FCCLA is one of the largest student-run organizations nationwide. With family as its central focus, the career and technical organization helps give members the ability to make differences in their families, careers and communities by addressing personal, work and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.
The FCCLA state competition is April 5-7 in Dallas.
